About
Welcome to the enchanting forest of Emry, a rising female singer-songwriter from the wilds of Poland. Since childhood, she was a shy, curious and sensitive kid who loved playing outside and transformed her unspoken thoughts into music. As she gets older, she realises how cruel the world actually is, so she decides to create her own. 'It's like planting a forest' she says. 'Cuz a forest is one of the most peaceful and healing places you can find on Earth'. She believes there are many hurt people like her who are looking for a break from the Reality.
The music she creates springs from nature’s whispers blending dreamy and haunting melodies. Inspired by medieval and classical sounds, her work is often compared to artists like Kate Bush, Björk, Aurora and Billie Eilish.
She had a chance to perform at the biggest two stages in Oxford, the Bullingdon in 2022, and a year later at The O2 Academy. She also performed in London including notable stages like Fiddles Elbow, the Star in Shoreditch, Sindercombe Social and more.
Emry is known for her ethereal presence and often graces the stage in medieval-style dresses with vibrant colours and fairy-tale aesthetics with her intricate hairstyles adorned with pearls. This justifies why she’s been affectionately dubbed a 'forest girl' or 'fairy girl' by her friends. Her energy shines through in every performance, captivating audiences and taking them away to a world where they can feel comfortable, accepted, and embraced.
Recently, Emry has released her second single 'The Man of War' along with lyric videos, an acoustic version and live performances. Currently, she's preparing for multiple live shows and releasing her first EP. Join our forest and let's build it together 🌱
